1. Information We Collect

ScoreBaaz collects minimal information to provide our services:

• Device Information: Device type, OS version, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications.
• Usage Data: Matches you view, alert preferences, and favourite teams — stored locally on your device and optionally synced to improve your experience.
• Payment Information: Handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your credit card or payment details.
• Advertising Identifiers: Google AdMob may collect the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on the free tier to serve relevant ads. Premium subscribers are not subject to ad tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver live score updates and push notifications for your selected matches and teams.
• To power Bengali voice alerts for cricket (SIX, WICKET, FOUR, etc.) and football (GOAL, RED CARD, etc.) events.
• To verify your Premium subscription status via Google Play.
• To display advertisements to free-tier users (never to Premium subscribers).
• To diagnose bugs and improve app performance.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers to operate the app:

• Google Firebase: Real-time score delivery and push notifications (FCM).
• Google AdMob: Advertisement delivery for free-tier users.
• Google Play: Subscription and billing management.
• MongoDB Atlas: Secure cloud database for match data (no personal data stored).

4. Data Retention

Your alert preferences and favourite teams are retained for as long as you have the app installed. FCM tokens are refreshed automatically. You may delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the app or contacting us at the address below.

5. Children's Privacy

ScoreBaaz is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@scorebaaz.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

All data transmission between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Our backend runs on Hetzner Cloud (EU) with industry-standard security practices. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled via Google Sign-In.

8. Third-Party Links

The app may display links to third-party sites (e.g., match streams). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through an in-app notification or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
